Rachamim - Compassion - Divine MercyRahamim is the Hebrew word used many times in scripture to mean pity, compassion, mercy. The root of the word comes from "womb". Rahamim or Rachamim means "womb-love". The love that mirrors the connectiveness of a mother and her child. Today's prayer service looks at the Divine Mercy of our God and Jesus. The prayer service includes a separate sheet with a beautiful conversation that occurred between Pope Francis and a young girl in Manilla as she asked with tears in her eyes the Pope "Why do children suffer?" |
